The Belgian Go Federation (BGF) is a non-profit association that promotes and organises the game of go in Belgium. It is a member of the European Go Federation and the contact point for everything related to go in Belgium.
It supports the clubs, including in schools: equipment, advice, help to get started.
It makes go known: introduction stands at festivals, publications, promotional material.
It organises the national competitions: Belgian Championship, Brussels Tournament, Interclubs, blitz and rengo championships. They are usually free for members.

The board is elected every year by the general assembly. Its members are volunteers: the president represents the federation and chairs the meetings, the secretary handles administration and minutes, the treasurer keeps the accounts and collects the fees, and the other board members share the remaining tasks. Its current composition is on the Contact page.
